The sheet music:
Lyrics
1. If you’re kinda low
And you want to know what to do
I’m introducin’ you
To a gloom resister
Futuristicly and artistically you’ll be in
So come on let’s begin, brother, sister
Chorus:
Get into that rhythm, shake your shoes away
That’s the low-down on the “Low-Down”
You can do that rhythm, make it look okay
That’s the low-down on the “Low-Down”
Pick your little tootsies up, you can get by
Kick your little tootsies up, up to the sky
Sway your body with ’em, learn to make Hey! Hey!
That’s the low-down on the “Low-Down”
2. Say goodbye to grief
Here’s a quick relief for your blues
Just watch yourself enthuse
When I lead you to it
It’s a brand new twist that you can’t resist if you try
You’ll see your troubles fly when you do it
