Lyrics
1. Heroes are threading
Through meadowlands so widely spreading
Red army heroes of the nation
Meadowlands, the best in all creation
Yea!
2. Maidens are weeping
Their solitary vigils keeping
Still to their sweethearts all their love plighting
While their heroes on the fields are fighting
Yea!
3. Gay roads are winding
Through sunlight that is almost blinding
Over the roads, the army passing
On the battlefield is bravely massing
Yea!
4. Let every maiden
With heart no longer heavy-laden
Sing of our valiant heroes loudly
Carry the red army’s banner proudly
Yea!
