Lyrics

1. Wally Ho-Woo was an Indian who was in love
With a maid called “Po-ka-too”
From the tribe of Navajoe
He was such a handsome brave
But he soon became her slave
Just because she teased him so
Every night when all was still
From his wigwam on the hill
To her tent he’d start to crawl
While he gave this Indian call
“Ya-hoo” “Ya-hoo” which means
I’m coming to you

CHORUS
And he’d wiggle wiggle wiggle wiggle
Wiggle his way to her wigwam
Her father always used to holler
But it was no use
For he was simply wild about his little papoose
And he would giggle while he’d wiggle his way
To her wigwam
For he was very happy ’cause he knew that soon
He’d take her far away on a honeymoon
And under cover with her lover
They’d spoon in her wigwam
He’d swear that he’d be true
And give her all of his wampum, wampum too
He’d hear a sound, put his ear to the ground
And when he found it was her daddy snoopin’ around
He’d wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle
Wiggle right out of her wigwam
Oh! how she loved her big chief
Wally-Ho Wally-Ho Woo

2. Wally Ho-Woo was a fighter, too
But it seems that his fighting days were thru
In the tribe of Navajoe
On the warpath they would start
But he’d think of his sweetheart
And decide he should not go
He would tell the chief that he
Was as sick as he could be
Then he’d sneak back to the place
Take the war paint off his face
“Cuckoo” “Cuckoo” he was a cuckoo that’s true
