These songs for the most part are funny now in 2018/2019 – they have very little substance, can’t remember any after five minutes. Possibly could make a great show of “stinkers of 1922” .

I likewise have been copying the songs that made it, putting the lyrics and verses in the midi form using Notation Composer, and then exporting the finished product back to create a Midi-Kar version which I use in nursing homes as a memory restorer to geriatrics. Started this about 12 years ago at age 68, and enjoy many melodies while I play along with a Casio 500 Digital Horn or wind synthesizer.
Yes, these songs are a special interest now. I’ve also found that people have many different reasons and interests in approaching this music and these subjects. Even young people can be drawn to a certain style or topic.
